Republican bill would stop illegal immigrants from being able to ‘disappear’ once they’re caught

(Worthy News) – Sen. James Inhofe said he will introduce legislation aimed at preventing illegal immigrants who make it over the U.S. border from disappearing into the country due to overcrowded detention centers.

Inhofe said U.S. detention facilities release thousands of illegal immigrants into the United States with a court date with an immigration judge, and they almost never return to attend.

“What they should do is send them back to the country they came from until their court date,” the Oklahoma Republican told the Washington Examiner. “But as it is now, they just give them a court date and they turn them over to church groups and others and they just disappear and they end up in our society.” [ Source: Washington Examiner (Read More…) ]

Ancient mosaic in Israel describes Jesus as God

Ancient mosaic in Israel describes Jesus as God

(Worthy News) – An Israeli prison in Megiddo will be transformed into an archaeological park showcasing the major Roman-era archaeological remains that have been discovered underneath it including the remains of an ancient Jewish village and a stunning mosaic that identifies Jesus as God.

The prisoners will soon be transferred, the prison converted and the discoveries open to the public. Located in northern Israel, the Megiddo jail houses both Israeli and Palestinian prisoners. The British built the prison over the ancient site in the 1940s. The archaeological discoveries were made between 2003 and 2008 after digging began to expand the prison.

The inmates themselves were to put to work digging – and it was one of them who, in 2005, stumbled on the mosaic inscription proclaiming Jesus’ deity. Translated from the Greek by the Israeli Antiquities Authority, the inscription reads: “The god-loving Akeptous has offered the table to God Jesus Christ as a memorial.” [ Source: Kehila News (Read More…) ]

Third Temple Alert: Police Authorize Passover Sacrifice Next to Temple Mount

(Worthy News) – Religious Jewish factions say they are moving ever closer to the realization of the Third Temple in Jerusalem.

The latest evidence of this is police authorization, granted on Sunday, for a Passover sacrificial ceremony to be held just tens of meters from where the Second Temple once stood.

Religious groups have been holding public Passover sacrifices, in accordance with the biblical outline, for years. But never before have they been permitted to conduct the ceremony so close to the Temple Mount, which the Muslims claim as their own, even as they deny the holy site holds any religious or historical significance for the Jewish people. Informant provided FBI evidence Russia aided Iran nuclear program during Obama years

Informant provided FBI evidence Russia aided Iran nuclear program during Obama years

(Worthy News) – A former undercover informant says he provided evidence to the FBI during President Obama’s first term that Russia was assisting Iran’s nuclear program even as billions in new U.S. business flowed to Moscow’s uranium industry.

William Douglas Campbell told The Hill his evidence included that Russia was intercepting nonpublic copies of international inspection reports on Tehran’s nuclear program and sending equipment, advice and materials to a nuclear facility inside Iran.

Campbell said Russian nuclear executives were extremely concerned that Moscow’s ongoing assistance to Iran might boomerang on them just as they were winning billions of dollars in new nuclear fuel contracts inside the United States. [ Source: The Hill (Read More…) ]

Overhaul of U.S. Telecoms Database Sparks Fear of Catastrophic Failure

Overhaul of U.S. Telecoms Database Sparks Fear of Catastrophic Failure

(Worthy News) – An impending overhaul of the national U.S. telecommunications database is prompting fears the transition could spark a catastrophic failure, crippling emergency communications networks across the United States, according to industry insiders who told the Washington Free Beacon the foreign firm handling the upcoming transition may not be prepared to initiate the switch.

On April 8, a foreign firm will initiate the first phase in a Federal Communications Commission-mandated overhaul of the national telecoms database that stores and facilitates millions of American phone numbers.

The national database, known as the Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC), handles 6 billion calls and texts per day, and if the system fails, no calls at all will be able to be placed. It is being taken over by a foreign-owned firm with a past of breaching U.S. national security clauses banning it from employing foreign workers, such as those tied to China.
