(Worthy News) – The White House said late Monday that the trove of information released earlier in the day by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “provides new and compelling details about Iran’s efforts to develop missile-deliverable nuclear weapons.”

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, until last week director of the CIA, said the documents were authentic and much of it was new to US experts.

(Worthy News) – While revealing a truly impressive intelligence coup by the Mossad, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday night did not present evidence that Iran had violated the 2015 nuclear deal, or shed new light on the Islamic Republic’s pre-agreement atomic program.

The prime minister literally and in dramatic fashion unveiled the results of the daring Mossad operation, whipping black sheets off a bookshelf full of binders apparently containing 55,000 pages of physical documents and a display board of 183 CDs holding another 55,000 digital files, which Netanyahu said contained years’ worth of “incriminating” information on Iran’s alleged nuclear weapons program.

According to the prime minister, those documents had been stored inside a number of safes in a “dilapidated warehouse” in southern Tehran until they were stolen by Mossad and smuggled back to Tel Aviv. (Worthy News) – Multiple missile strikes hit several military bases in Syria on April 29. The target of at least some of the attacks appeared to be warehouses containing Iranian missiles, reports say.

Al-Akhbar, a Lebanese pro-Hizbullah newspaper, said the attacks in Hama and in the Aleppo countryside were apparently carried out with “bunker-busting” missiles, causing huge explosions which Syrian state television said caused a 2.6 magnitude earthquake.

More importantly, said Netanyahu, the Iranians evidently retained the material – “a comprehensive program to design, build and test nuclear weapons” – in order to use it at a future “time of its choice to develop nuclear weapons.”

(Worthy News) – Israeli defense officials have told their American and Russian counterparts that if Iranian-backed forces attack Israel from inside Syria, Jerusalem will not hold back from retaliating with direct strikes against Tehran or other targets in Iran.

The officials delivered the message ahead of a national security statement expected Monday from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in response to Iranian threats to hit Israel after recent strikes on Tehran-backed assets in Syria, according to a report by Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper.

“Enthusiasm for the Democratic Party is waning among millennials as its candidates head into the crucial midterm congressional elections,” according to a Reuters/Ipsos survey of some 11,000 voters ages 18-34 conducted during the first three months of the year.
