YouTube Bans Pro-Life Channel, Labels It ‘Harmful’ And ‘Dangerous’

(Worthy News) – A pro-life organization says YouTube suspended one of its channels for being ‘harmful or dangerous’ because its videos told women how to reverse their medical abortions.

The group, Heartbeat International, says YouTube suspended its Abortion Pill Reversal account, which included a video describing the reversal procedure and three others of women who had successfully undergone it.

“It’s hard to understand why YouTube would treat the rescuing of babies from an abortion pill the same as terrorism videos,” Jor-El Godsey, president of Heartbeat International, told the group’s news arm, PregnancyHelpNews.com. “On closer investigation, we believe YouTube will find that these videos in no way resemble such dangerous or harmful content.” [ Source: Christian Headlines (Read More…) ]

After shocking election result, Malaysia may be headed for market volatility, economic change

(Worthy News) – A historic win at Malaysia’s general election by the opposition alliance led by the country’s former leader, Mahathir Mohamad, will likely send markets on a wild ride, although analysts said long-term prospects appeared encouraging.

Mahathir’s Pakatan Harapan scooped up 113 of the 222 available parliament seats, exceeding the 112 seats needed for a simple majority and upsetting the incumbent Barisan Nasional coalition.

Uncertainty will likely be a focus in the short term for markets following the surprise result.

“The Malaysia election outcome is a huge upset, no pollster was expecting this. This upset ranks up there with Brexit and [the] Trump election,” said Aninda Mitra, senior sovereign analyst at BNY Mellon Investment Management. [ Source: CNBC (Read More…) ]

(Worthy News) – Some 20 rockets were fired at Israeli military bases by Iranian forces from southern Syria just after midnight on Thursday, sparking the largest ever direct clash between Jerusalem and Tehran, with Israeli jets targeting numerous Iranian-controlled sites across Syria.

In response, Israel launched an extensive retaliatory campaign, striking suspected Iranian bases throughout Syria for hours following the initial Iranian bombardment, an Israeli military spokesperson said, warning Syrian dictator Bashar Assad not to get involved.

IDF: Iranian forces fire 20 rockets at Israel; Iron Dome intercepts some

(Worthy News) – Some 20 rockets were fired at Israeli military bases by Iranian forces in southern Syria just after midnight on Thursday, with some of the incoming missiles being intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system, the army said, amid sky high tensions on the northern border.

There were no reports of Israeli casualties in the attack. An army spokesperson said damage was caused to Israeli military bases, but that it was “limited.”

The Israeli army said the missile barrage was carried out by members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Forces. This appeared to be the first time that Israel attributed an attack directly to Iran, which generally operates through proxies. The late night rocket barrage was also the largest attack, in terms of the number of rockets fired, in the seven years of the Syrian civil war. [ Source: Times of Israel (Read More…) ]
