(Worthy News) – President Trump’s former attorney says there are “reports” that retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn referred to his own wiretap when he was interviewed by two FBI agents in January 2017.

If the information from attorney John Dowd is correct, it would add to the body of evidence that Mr. Flynn was not deceptive because he knew the FBI knew everything he had said.

(Worthy News) – Two Palestinians were shot dead as over 4,000 people in the West Bank and Gaza took part in protests Tuesday to mark the establishment of Israel, one day after Israeli forces along the Gaza border killed 60 Palestinians.

Palestinian media said hundreds were participating across the West Bank and that 26 people were injured either by live ammunition or rubber-coated bullets fired by Israeli troops.

The protests were organized to mark “Nakba” (Arabic for ‘catastrophe’), which commemorates the more than 700,000 Palestinians who fled or were expelled in the 1948 war that followed Israel’s creation. [ Source:i24 (Read More…) ]

(Worthy News) – Senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahhar said the riots on the Israel-Gaza border are “not peaceful resistance” but rather, are supported by its “military force.”

“This is not peaceful resistance,” al-Zahhar said. “Has the option [of armed struggle] diminished? No. On the contrary, it is growing and developing. That’s clear.”

(Worthy News) – A leading Iranian ayatollah vowed in weekly prayer service in Tehran that the Islamic Republic “will turn Tel Aviv and Haifa to rubble,” according to a translation of his remarks.

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, a member of the Iranian Assembly of Experts, which answers to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said that Iran is “strengthening its missile power on a daily basis” and is on the verge of turning “Tel Aviv and Haifa to rubble,” according to a translation of his remarks by the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI, a regional monitoring organization.

Leading Iranian officials have been locked in tense meetings with European countries and former U.S. officials to ensure they continue to uphold the deal and keep doing business with the Islamic Republic.

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, one of the country’s lead negotiators, held a series of meetings with European Union countries on Tuesday to plead with them about saving the deal and ensuring Tehran remains open for business as the United States tees up a package of sanctions that could cripple Iran’s already ailing economy.
