Britain slated to outlaw the entire terrorist entity Hezbollah

(Worthy News) – The United Kingdom’s Home Secretary Sajid Javid will designate the entire Lebanese organization Hezbollah as a terrorist movement at next week’s Conservative Party conference.

London-based The Jewish Chronicle first reported Javid’s anti-Hezbollah terror classification on Thursday.

The EU proscribed Hezbollah’s so-called military wing a terrorist organization in 2013. The terror classification arose because Hezbollah operatives blew up an Israeli tour bus in Bulgaria in 2012, murdering five Israelis and their Muslim Bulgarian bus driver. The terror act resulted in injuries to 32 Israelis. [ Source: Jerusalem Post (Read More…) ]

Kavanaugh Emotionally Refutes Allegations, Calls Them ‘Grotesque and Obvious Character Assassination’

(Worthy News) – Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh gave an intense and tearful testimony Thursday, shooting down multiple allegations of sexual abuse during a historic Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Kavanaugh called the allegations against him a “grotesque and coordinated character assassination” adding that his family and name “have been totally and permanently destroyed.”

He says part of the reason for the allegations is anger by some about President Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 election.

“This confirmation process has become a national disgrace,” he said. “You’ve replaced advice and consent with search and destroy.” [ Source: CBN News (Read More…) ]

Palestinians: ‘Israel owes us $360 million from 17 years of unpaid taxes’

(Worthy News) – The Palestinian Authority has demanded that the Israel government transfers $360 million in back taxes it has collected for commercial activity in Area C of the West Bank.

Israel stopped transferring those funds in the year 2000, which would have amounted to an estimated $20 million a year, the PA said.

It made its demand in a report it issued for Thursday’s meeting of the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. [ Source: Jerusalem Post (Read More…) ]

Abbas tells UNGA ‘Jerusalem is not for sale’

(Worthy News) – Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told the UN General Assembly on Thursday that Jerusalem “is not for sale” while urging US President Donald Trump to rescind his decisions recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and cutting aid to the Palestinians, which he said had undermined the two-state solution to the Middle East conflict.

The aging Palestinian leader did not hold back on the expected broadside against Israel, which he accused of continuing a “colonial occupation” continues to “suffocate us.”

He also said that Israel’s recent passage of the Nation-State Law will lead to an apartheid state, adding that it discriminates against the country’s non-Jewish population. [ Source: Ynet News (Read More…) ]

All eyes on Iran after Netanyahu’s bombshell revelation — but probably not for long

(Worthy News) – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bombshell speech at the UN Thursday, featuring revelations about a secret nuclear warehouse in the heart of Tehran, which included its precise location for people to look up at home, had everything you’d expect: It was rich on Biblical themes, included praise for Israel’s vibrant democracy, was marked by the scolding of European anti-Semitism, and contained outraged rebuttals of Palestinian accusations.

As in most of his recent UN speeches, the centerpiece of Thursday’s 40-minute address was Iran and its nuclear ambitions. But his disclosure of top-secret intelligence on the atomic warehouse may prove effective, at least temporarily, in drawing global attention to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear duplicities.

Until Netanyahu’s appearance Thursday afternoon, much of the global political and diplomatic leadership here, when considering Israel’s part of the Middle East, was, as is the norm, preoccupied with the non-existent peace process between Israelis and Palestinians, and the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
