(Worthy News) – ObamaCare will be back in court on Tuesday in a closely watched case hanging over the health care system.

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans will hear arguments in a lawsuit backed by the Trump administration seeking to overturn the entire 2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Legal experts on both sides of the aisle say the challengers’ legal arguments are weak and the lawsuit is unlikely to ultimately succeed, but nothing is assured. And regardless of the outcome, Democrats are using the lawsuit to argue Republicans are a threat to the 20 million people who rely on ObamaCare for health insurance. (Worthy News) – US President Donald Trump warned Iran on Sunday to “be careful,” shortly after the Islamic Republic said it would breach a uranium enrichment cap set by the 2015 nuclear deal.

“Iran better be careful, because you enrich for one reason, and I won’t tell you what that reason is. But it’s no good. They better be careful,” Trump told reporters in Morristown, New Jersey.

(Worthy News) – Two remote California desert communities assessed damage after two major earthquakes hit the area at the end of last week, followed by thousands of smaller aftershocks.

Ridgecrest and neighboring Trona were hit hard by the magnitude 7.1 quake that rocked the Mojave Desert towns Friday. A day earlier, a magnitude 6.4 temblor hit the same patch of the desert.

The area, about 240 kilometers northeast of Los Angeles, is in recovery mode after the quakes crumbled buildings, ignited fires and cut power to thousands of homes and businesses. [ Source: VOA News (Read More…) ]

(Worthy News) – A California seismologist said the two earthquakes near the city of Ridgecrest, Calif., over the past two days could be followed by an even larger quake.

Lucy Jones, a 33-year veteran with the U.S. Geological Survey who is known as “Earthquake Lady,” noted that the possibility of an earthquake larger than Friday’s earthquake, which was estimated to be a 7.1 -magnitude tremor, was not the likeliest scenario but still very possible. She said in a tweet, “Yes, we estimate that there’s about a 1 in 10 chance that Searles Valley will see another M7. That is a 9 in 10 chance that tonight’s M7.1 was the largest.”
