(Worthy News) – Three rockets fired from the Gaza Strip landed within Israeli communities adjacent to the border overnight Tuesday, while a further 10 landed in open territory, the Eshkol Regional Council said early Wednesday, after increased tensions led to a night of attacks and counter-blows.
Rocket sirens blared throughout the night as barrages totaling some 30 rockets and mortar shells were fired toward Israeli towns, prompting several rounds of Israeli airstrikes on Hamas military sites in the coastal enclave.
The IDF said fighter jets struck 25 targets in various Hamas military bases from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip in response to the rocket and mortar fire. [ Source: Times of Israel (Read More…) ]
