CDC: U.S. measles outbreak grows to highest level in 25 years

(Worthy News) – The measles outbreak in the United States has grown to its second-highest level in a quarter-century, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday.

There have been 555 cases reported so far in 20 states, the CDC said. The number has risen by nearly 200 in just two weeks as many Americans refuse to get their children vaccinated for religious or anti-government reasons.
