Around 15,000 scientists and doctors from around the world, and both sides of the political aisle, have now signed a document stating that coronavirus lockdown measures are having a “devastating” effect on public health, the Washington Times reports. Initiated by doctors from Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford University, the Great Barrington Declaration was published on Tuesday. Doctors and scientists have continued to sign up for it since then.

New poll shows nearly half of professing Christians believe Bible is ambiguous on abortion

A new survey has found that 44 percent of Christians believe the Bible is “ambiguous” on the subject of abortion, Christian Headlines reports. The Cultural Research Center (CRC) of Arizona Christian University conducted the survey in January, polling a nationally representative sample of 2,000 adult professing Christians. The results were published in the eleventh report of the annual American Worldview Inventory (AWI) 2020.

EU says no extra funding for Palestinian Authority while it refused to collect its own money from Israel

The European Union has told the Palestinian Authority that it cannot have extra EU funding while Ramallah refuses to accept its own tax money collected by Israel, the Jerusalem Post reports. Anticipating Israeli annexation of parts of the West Bank, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas announced in May that he would cease all cooperation with Israel.
