Israel declares war on PA funding for terrorist kin after Knesset bill

(Worthy News) – Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman is setting up a counterterrorist “economic warfare” unit to go after the stipends that the PA provides for imprisoned terrorists and their families.

This comes a day after the Knesset voted to cut funds – which the Palestinian Authority gives to terrorists and their families – from the taxes and tariffs Israel collects for the authority.

In what is called the “Anti-Pay for Slay bill,” MKs voted 87-15 on Monday to back the financial restrictions. All factions except for leftist Meretz and the mostly-Arab Joint List backed the bill. [ Source: Jerusalem Post (Read More…) ]

Judge again blocks Arkansas’ attempt to ban pill abortions

(Worthy News) – A federal judge has again temporarily blocked Arkansas from becoming the first state to enforce a ban on pill-induced abortions.

U.S. District Judge Kristine Baker granted the injunction to prevent the state from enforcing a 2015 law that says doctors who prescribe abortion medication must have a contract with another physician who has hospital-admitting privileges.

The complex law virtually banned pill-induced abortions in Arkansas, and left just one clinic for surgical abortions. [ Source: UPI (Read More…) ]

(Worthy News) – Fresh from a successful re-election campaign, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government is flexing its newfound clout in the fight on Capitol Hill over acquiring cutting-edge U.S. military hardware.

Officials in Ankara claim they have secured concessions from the Trump White House that Washington will push forward with planned sales of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter to the country, despite significant resistance from some powerful voices in Congress.
